Story – Ab Tak Chappan 2 is right up Nana Patekars alley. No one seems to know it better than him as he embraces the role of an encounter squad leader Sadhu Agashe (Nana Patekar) with absolute conviction.  The director of Ab Tak Chappan 2, Aejaz Gulab, Retells the familiar story of brutal gangster-cop dramas. You have an honest Policeman, Regular disgusting henchmen and the corrupt politicians on the loose and it’s up to Super cop Sadhu Agashe.  A retired Agashe living peacefully with Legal case verdicts being awaited for all the Encounters done. But, his peace is interrupted when he is recalled before Mumbai implodes under Gangster wars.

Movie Scan – It is a familiar story retold with a no frills approach and that is what makes it so engaging. There are no unnecessary dialogues or songs to put the brakes on the narration. The twists are far too predictable and lame.

Also, The Stereotyped villains are peddled with unnecessary mockery. While Patekar takes up almost every frame, Gul Panag playing a crime reporter and Ashutosh Rana as Agashe’s jealous colleague, provide him with some support.
