After Uri’s cowardly attack, another attack plotted on 46 Rashtriya Rifles Army camp. Militants launched a ‘Fidayeen’ (suicide) attack. Attack was targeted on 46 Rashtriya Rifles army camp in Baramulla district of north Kashmir on Sunday. Baramulla city has Military camps at its outskirts which is 54 kms from Srinagar.
Officials commented, ‘Guarding force BSF, personnel were staying jointly in the soldiers camp under operational command of the Army’ to The Indian Express.
As per the reports, the terrorists tried to enter through a public park but were unable to breach the 46 Rashtriya Rifles camp. There was heavy exchange of fire in the region.
Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also alerted the public about the ongoing situation.
Omar Abdullah tweeted:
Colleagues in Baramulla town are phoning with reports of massive gunfire in their vicinity. Prayers for all in the area.

It is disturbing to know that Baramulla is targeted barely after fortnight of the terror assault on the Indian Army’s Brigade headquarters at Uri. Uri attack left 18 soldiers dead.
On Thursday, the Indian army carried out retaliatory surgical strikes on terrorist launch pads in PoK. There were several predictions and possibilities of a defence attack post this surgical strike.
Seeing the current situation, recurring questions come up and doubt the approach and reasoning behind compassionate. Till when and to what extend compassion should behold?
