The plot: 3 well settled guys in their job get involved in romantic stint with 3 very different women. The series of events in which it is depicted that the women use these men in their lives is what this movie is all about.
The sequel to Pyar ka Punchnama is quite similar to the prequel, keeping the basic plot exactly the same. The sequel also has some hilarious moments with some kick ass dialogues but the entire movie lacks the class of the prequel. Since the audience already had a taste of the story earlier, this sequel does not contain novelty any more.
What is the most interesting part of the movie is the 8 minute monologue at the end where one of the lead characters bashes women, taking out all of his frustration for the opposite gender. But guess what? The monologue seems one sided and might be stamped as misogynist by many.
However, there are some light moments in the movie which make the movie a little fun to watch. The scene where Kartik has a tough time being the chauffeur for his girlfriend and her friends from the parlour will definitely put you in splits.
Many in the audience will relate to many of small incidents depicted in the movie. If you are not looking for some heavy conceptual dose this weekend, then PKP2 is worth giving a shot.
