And finally after so much speculations, Raabta Trailer is finally out and it is indeed an interesting take on timeless love story featuring Sushant Singh Rajput as Shiv, the passionate romantic hero and poised Kriti Sanon as Saira.
Raabta, is a timeless love story, that travels effortlessly between past and present, connecting two different eras. In modern times, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon seen much ‘in love’ trying to woo each other, but here comes the major twist in the story- enters Neerja fame Jim Sarbh as a possessive lover ( we can just make a guess, when he says to Kriti- ” Bas ek mujhse hi pyar karsakti ho tum“), he is looking for her since last 25 years and wants to win her back, obviously by not so ‘good ways’.
Then comes the major part of the story, the tribal clan of pre-historic era , where we can see a clash between Jim Sarbh and Sushant Singh Rajput and their ultimate struggle to win the leading lady, Kriti Sanon. The conflict between the trio has clear repercussions on recent times, when they meet again and their intriguing chase for ‘who is going to win her love’ continues.
This more than 2 -min trailer has shown Jim Sarbh as a true baddie and his onscreen dialogues- “Phir sadiyo tak log kahenge, ek tha Raja, ek thi Rani, dono mar gaye, khatam kahaani” , brings out underlying theme of the film. The film has used, soulful ‘Raabta’ track from ‘Agent Vinod’, which aptly stands out as a background music in the film.
