A sudden shock wave spread in the region and among the fraternity on Monday over the recent death news of a Photojournalist from Indian Express named Ravi Kanojiya.
It was reported that the journalist was recently sent from New Delhi to Jhansi district in Uttar Pradesh for an assignment to click the ‘Water Train’ which was parked in the railway yard. It was a subject of discussion for a period of time between the state and the central government.
The 34-year-old journalist was reported to be clicking pictures of the train where he came in contact with the power line and died on the spot.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav condoled his death and announced the financial assistance of Rs 20 lacks to his family.
The Indian Express took an opportunity to bid adieu to its member by publishing the recent works of Knojiya as a tribute to his contributions to the media fraternity.
