Good were those days when this show used to be shown on Cartoon Network and it never failed to brighten up your mood. By the way, did you know Tom’s actual name is Thomas the Cat in the show?

Jerry always used to be chased by Tom. However it was amusing to watch when Tom had the taste of his own medicine, when Spike the Dog chased Tom. It was so clever of Jerry to subtly create situations where in Spike had no other alternative than chasing Tom.

The times when Jerry used to protect his ward Nibbles or Tuffy, showed us a glimpse of Jerry’s caring nature. Keeping Tuffy out of the trouble seemed so difficult. Just like our kids, who seem to invite trouble at every step – be it eating anything from the floor or jumping from the bed! A keen eye and 24*7 surveillance is also not enough to keep them out of trouble.

The entire Tom and Jerry gang made us laugh – Toddles, The Duckling, The Cat Gang, The Woodpecker, Muscles, Goldy the Goldfish, Tyke and many more. Tom and Jerry will always remain a classic piece which will make all the generations happy. With today’s cartoons focused on heroes and wars, Tom and Jerry will always be the tree on the road which gives shade and comfort to the tired traveler.
