The magic touch of very talented cinematographer ‘Suresh Deshmane’ is well known. He is the man behind the camera. After his completion of course from J. J. School of arts, he worked as a still photographer for 150 films, he has completed 80 films as cinematographer. In this creative journey so far he was awarded by Maharashtra state government for his work in film industry 4 times, he was the esteemed Kodak Gold medalist in 2006 along with many other feathers in his cap.
The spark and his desire of developing himself as a cinematographer never faded. He constantly learned new techniques and transformed himself with the ever changing trends of Film industry. He adapted new styles and implemented his knowledge about unfamiliar techniques used in cinematography. He grew each day with piecemeal and completed 25 years in the glam industry as ace cinematographer. Anuraag will be his first film as technical director.
Currently Suresh Deshmane, is an intrinsic part of upcoming flick ‘Anuraag’. Anuraag movie is completed in one of the most famous destinations of India – LEH LADAKH. Overall camera work was most challenging part for the movie Anuraag, as it involved shooting at high altitude and extreme weather conditions. Below are few special highlights which are worth a note –
- Rafting shoot sequences were distinctly planned with special boats for better capture of emotions and feel.
- Snowfall sequence was planned with steady camera to elaborate smooth movement with outstanding crew support at high altitude of 18,500 feet.
- A new perspective of Pangong lake is shown where characters are exclusively connecting nature.
- Digital Camera (High End Camera) Alexa XT, 4 Resolution Camera, Weather maintaining settings were used.
- Fisheye lenses, 8K lenses were used .
- Film has shoots taken at high altitude, snow, and flowing Zanskar River.

It is a first sequel in Marathi film industry. A horror comedy movie shot entirely with a 3D camera and is the first Indian Film, picturised on a 4K Resolution.
Directed by Satish Rajwade, Gaiir was first stylish movie created in Marathi industry, with amazing plot and storyline.
A film based on the life of Maharashtra’s former Chief Minister and incumbent Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde. A very well-written and well-executed film with cinematography at its best.
