“Kisses, even to the air, are beautiful.”
– Drew Barrymore
Coming from a famous background has always been a pressure!
One of the powerful examples of such situations is our forever favorite and very gorgeous, Drew Barrymore. Born to a family of prowess “Barrymore’s” Drew became popular at a very young age, being a young star from the early days of her life and career she has proved to be the perfect example for the famous quote: If you desire healing, let yourself fall ill.
From the initial stage of her life struggling through a turbulent childhood that was marked by recurring drug and alcohol abuse, and two stints in rehab Barrymore has come a long way. Making her transitions from a child star to an adult actress she has always ruled our hearts with a success, her invincible comic timing and natural instinct of happiness has made her bag the roles in the very famous romantic comedies such as 50 first dates and The Wedding Singer.
Drew stepped into the world of literature with her first book which initially was her biography named “little girl lost” in 1990, which talks about how sued and not so caring childhood she had, with both parents working and she herself thrown into the profession, and the other Drew has come walking a long distance where she is now a powerful mother, an empowering businesswoman, an entrepreneur of wisdom and laughter for everyone whom she’s around and also, to those who love her unconditionally.
Drew has always been a socially active celebrity, she always says and considers her fans and well-wishers as her family and thus, comes very openly on social media to reach out to them through her insights and feeling statuses and expressions over the course of her different phases and situations in her life such as her pre-pregnancy depression, and her separation with her husband, she has always given the relations space of nourishment and decided on them at a suitable point.
To another of her recent interviews with Hampton magazine, the star revealed about her comeback for a reasonable and strong project Drew Barrymore is opening up about returning to acting after taking a break to raise her children. The actress announced in 2015 that she was taking time off from show business, explaining that she preferred to focus her time on raising her daughters, Olive, 3, and Frankie, 2.
But Barrymore was clear she would come out of retirement for the right project, and in March Netflix greenlit a new comedy series, Santa Clarita Diet, in which she costars with Justified’s Timothy Olyphant.
“[The new show] is crazy and exciting. I haven’t worked very much so that I could raise my children,” the actress said in Hampton Magazine’s Memorial Day Issue. “It feels fresh to go back to something I’ve known for so long. It’s funny how you can make it new again,” Drew Barrymore added.
After announcing her split from husband Will Kopelman in April, Barrymore has been keeping busy. “I’m doing my best,” the actress recently told PEOPLE. “I’m going back to work for the first time in a while to do this Netflix show,” she added. “I’m not supposed to give away details about the roll, but I’m excited. It’s going to be fun.”
Santa Clarita Diet is expected to hit Netflix in 2017.
