Story Scan:

The movie Manikarnika is the story based on the life story of the warrior queen, Rama Laxmibai of Jhansi. She was the first woman in the history of India who ignited the war with the British empire demanding Independence. Manikarnika played by Kangana Ranaut was born in a brahmin family but was raised like a Kshatriya. Her husband Maharaj Gangadhar Rao later changed her name as Laxamibai. She refused the British to take over her princely state after her husband’s death and even fought with them like a brave heart. This is the basic storyline of the movie, but I think we all know this story already and read our Manikarnika movie review further to know more about this.

manikarnika movie review 1Movie Scan:

The movie starts off with voice over of the legendary superstar of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan. His narration leads you to the story and takes you back to the 19th century. The movie tackles the most significant part of the history. We must mention the art directors who beautifully recreated the period. The grandeur of the movie impresses you for sure. The movie has also got an engaging screenplay. The war sequences are choreographed amazingly. Kangana who wore two hats for this magnum opus can be said as good at both and handled both well.

Go, watch the story of the Queen of Jhansi unfold on the screen lavishly.
