URI attacks in 2016 in which our Indian soldiers were killed mercilessly is now being made as a movie named URI starring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam. Pakistan gave our soldiers a revengeful reason to call on a surgical strike on Pakistan occupied Kashmir. It was a deadly mission where many of our soldiers lost their lives again. But they didn’t lose their spirit of patriotism, the fire to burn down everyone who messed with the Indian army. The film marks the directorial debut of Aditya Dhar. URI trailer is out today and Vicky’s action-filled trailer will definitely blow your mind.

It’s the first time we get to see Vicky Kaushal in an all-out action avatar and boy, what a terrific performer is he!

The first trailer for Uri: The Surgical Strike was released on Wednesday. The action-drama is based on the 2016 surgical strikes conducted by the Indian Army in retaliation to an alleged terror attack in the Kashmir region of Uri.

In the teaser, we see Vicky Kaushal gunning down terrorists in an operation and his intense gaze makes it clear that he means business.

Yami’s First Look From URI

It was also revealed then that she will be seen in a new avatar. She will be playing the role of an intelligence officer in the film. And before we get a glimpse of the trailer of the film, the makers decided to release the look Yami will be donning in the film. Yami looks stunningly beautiful.

In the early hours of 29th September 2016, Indian soldiers avenged those who were martyred in the URI attacks.

We caught glimpses of Vicky’s character, who along with the rest of his regiment was seen honoring the dead. The movie is all set to release on January 11th, 2018. So brace yourself to witness that on the big screen.
