Spring is the best season as the blooming flowers will hold your breath with beauty. Though the valley is panoramic throughout the year but it is advised not to visit the place in winter, due to snow and less food availability in the snow covered forest as the wildlife gets affected and the bears and leopards start to descend in the valley in search of food. This makes the place a little risky during cold weathers.

Waterfalls, Jalori Pass, Bachelo Pass and Serloskar Lake, other than the Great Himalayan National Park.

Daily basis pass for the Great Himalayan National Park with nominal charges.

2. Pabbar Valley

Remote place and breathtaking beauty of the dense forest will make you fall in love for the unexplored beauty.  Rohru , Karapather, Shelapani or Chansal Pass all come under Pabbar Valley region. This area is rich in Apple plantation. Pabbar Valley is located in the middle Himalayas or Pirparjal range and hence it remains snow covered.

The best season to explore Pabbar Valley is throughout the year.

3. Barot

Barot is blessed with thick belt of Deodar forest and oaks. Barot is famous for trekking and if you like fishing, then this is the place to visit.

Except from rainy season (degraded roads and landslides), the place can be visited. The area experiences heavy snowfall in the month of January but the snow lovers prefer the winter season.

Winter: Upto to 4 o C

Monsoon: Moderate.

Chitkul is the first village of the Baspa/ Sangla Valley and last inhabited Indian Village on the Indo-Tibet border and is situated on the banks of Baspa River. This place may also fascinate you with the fact that it is the last point where one can travel without a permit in India. Snow-clad Himalayan Mountains and apple trees together form a breath-taking view of the place.

Winter: Extreme cold.

Kagyupa temple, Kinnaur Kailash, Bairang Nag Temple, Kamru Fort – Seat of Kamakhyi Devi.
5. Shoja

In the lap of Seraj Valley, a small village is situated known as the Shoja and is near to the Jalori pass. The dense forest and a view of white peaks of Himalayan Mountains is all you need to rejuvenate with a cup of coffee.

Serolsar Lake, Waterfalls and Raghupur fort.

It’s a place near to Sarahan, is untouched by tourists. If you are an adventure road lover, then this place will sure shot attract you for its narrow and curvy roads which challenges your driving skills on each turn. The beauty of this place is spectacular and a peaceful place to visit for relaxation. Blue pines and silver fir varieties from coniferous forests are found along with Himalayan Yew and Cedar trees.

Bhimakali and wooden temples, Pheasantry, Daranghati Sanctuary.
